{Travel Special} The Pig House @ Khao Yai

We stayed in The Pig House Gallery during our 4D3N family trip to Khao Yai. This holiday home offered such an enjoyable experience that it deserves a post for itself.

You may read about our full itinerary & travel experience in Khao Yai here (a MUST-READ if you're considering to visit Khao Yai ;-)

The name of the place sound so un-glamorous, but it really stood out with a rating of 8.9 over 10.0 on the booking site and with many good reviews. The only drawback is that it's located quite far from other places of interests, but since we have chartered a driver, distance was not really an issue for us, comfort and tranquility come first.

The Pig House turned out.... FANTASTIC!

It's a double storey townhouse overseeing a large hill and surrounded by lush green.

View from the living hall.

The room condition was exactly as how it appeared in their website. Bright, clean & comfortable.

Breakfast was served in the patio facing the pond that is bustling with colors and lovely beings - lilies, dragonflies, butterflies, fishes, roosters, birds... Breakfast was such a blissful moments for all of us.

Life is good.

E and C's favourite, the swings

On our last day in Khao Yai, the caring house keeper at The Pig House cooked us a sumptuous fried rice and warm soup before we left. I truly enjoyed our stay here and it would not be the same without this kind lady.

All these, for just the 4 of us.

My portion, extra chili padi on request :)
